Ping G10 Graphite Irons
For a graphite shaft the Ping G10 Graphite Irons have a heavier feel than most especially in the stiff flex versions. For mid to low handicap players that is a great benefit as it reduces the whipping feeling that graphite can produce. Where a beginner needs a more flexible, lighter shaft to help get their swing under control and learn to compensate for power the G10 allows more advanced players who have a consistent swing use the better qualities of graphite to good advantage. They have added weight on the toe for more stability without being overpowering. The pitching wedge has a 45 degree offset for a much more controlled shot and the head is shaved a bit to allow more consistent players a stronger contact.Advanced players will love the weight centered cavity back as well as it gives just the right amount of loft to the ball and a sole that keeps bounce to a minimum while still being wide enough to stabilize the shot of a mid handicap player. The Ping G10 Graphite Irons have an elastomer insert in the cavity that gives a better sound and a firm feel. The graphite shaft keeps vibrations to a minimum even on off center shots while the lowered center of gravity gives a more solid impact.
The standard set comes in 3 – PW with the additional availability of 2, UW, SW, and LW in varied degrees of flex for both right and left handed players. The give a great game to any player from beginner to pro.
